For 12 years of teaching statistics & mathematics at many levels, from Calculus courses to teaching Business Calculations, Calculations & Statistics and Quantitative techniques and Finance, as a Lecturer, a Teaching Assistant and as Tutor, I have been constantly learning and gaining experience as to what makes an effective and a polished practitioner of the craft.

I believe that I am the best tutor for this subject because I understood Math in a way that was simple and less complicated. I studied the subject in a different way compared to how I was taught and I think that is an advantage because I am able to find many different ways to explain different concepts so that there is a higher understanding. This will allow maximum understanding in a short amount of time. I also achieved outstanding results for this subject in both primary school and high school.

Pure math in high school is a nightmare for most students and it sounds like a myth when math teachers say "Math is fun when you understand what you are doing". I was one of those students who struggled with math for a while and always felt like I was falling behind. I know math can be a scary subject but that's why I am here, I understand how scary it can be and I am willing to break it down and help you understand and hopefully it won't be such a nightmare. I was very good at math throughout my schooling and i have young siblings whom I help whenever they struggling with something. I also teach a bit of math in my current job which is in China. I am confident in my skills to assist.

Firstly I'm so passionate about transferring knowledge to anyone who need it, I strive to make sure one understands and I don't hesitate to do that continuously as long as we all achieve our goals. Mathematics have been my best subject, from primary to secondary, tertiary and up to University level Passed Mathematics at primary level with distinction, secondary level with distinction, tertiary level with distinction and lastly at university level with distinction. I have been exposed to Pure mathematics, Engineering mathematics and all kinds as long as its Mathematics. I have recently graduated with UNISA in the Mechanical Engineering department and I am willing to offer one on one, tailor made lessons to all willing and future students. I was the top student in Mathematics during my high school days. I believe mathematics comes natural to me and my ability to explain concepts clearly enables students to understand better. I have more than 5 years experience doing face to face tutoring which resulted in the students passing.

In High School I received an average of 85% for math and then in my first year of university I received 84% in math. I am extremely focused on getting the student to understand the basics behind each topic so that no matter how the question is phrased they are able to complete the question. I also focus a lot on practice as that is the only way to truly improve your marks.

I am encouraging my students to be the best they can in this subject. I'll taught them to love Math because they are dealing with it in their everyday lives.
