Math tutors in Pretoria

My most tutored subject is math. I am not necessarily a mathematically inclined person by nature, that is why I do so well in terms of tutoring as I find interesting and effective methods to teach the subject. Math requires practice and copious amounts of studying, and with the right tutor, I believe students can excel.

My degree requires knowledge and application of various mathematical fields. Predominately calculus is used, as well as the tutoring experience I have obtained equips me with quite diverse and in depth knowledge on most mathematical fields.

3years experience with different students from different backgrounds requiring different teaching techniques. I have had tbe privilege of being exposed to different students from different institutions ranging from private lessons to classes with +20 students

I would be the best tutor for this subject because when I was in school I struggled a bit with Maths but in the end, ended up achieving a high B for this subject. I, therefore, know how to break down concepts and explain them properly so that you can understand them.

I adapt my way of teaching to each students need. I will approach a problem from every angle until we find a way for you as student to understand the subject. I will work through your work with you until you are comfortable to try it alone.

I have a great deal of experience tutoring students in this subject at the University of Pretoria and the surrounding High schools. Mathematics is my strong point and I love to help students to unlock their potential.

As an engineering student, I had the privilege to do a lot of topics regarding this subject as well as getting a distinction in high school. I did a lot of calculus( derivatives, integrals, polar systems, vector functions etc.)

I completed matric with 90% in mathematics. This is my favourite subject and I have still got some really good matric and grade 11 math resources. I love teaching maths and I think that maths is something you need to be taught in many different ways to understand it.

I currently specialise in Mathematics in Primary School and will be able to put in my expertise from currently teaching at a school with working with students to achieve their goals and breaking maths down for them to make it easier and understanding it easier.

Math can cause a lot of trouble in some kid’s life because it doesn’t come as easy as to others. But I want to take that troubles away and make math seem okay. Math doesn’t need to be or become something you ever have to struggle with when you learn te basics.
