Mathematics was my favourite subject in school and I have studied and used statistics throughout my university career. I help students excel by providing them with different learning techniques such as mind maps, flash cards and summaries. I also like to use hands-on activities (such as counting buttons) to help practice maths as well as visual images.

I was a top achiever for mathematics in my high school and continued to preform through my university career. I've had a lot of experience tutoring high school students (primarily matriculant) in pure maths privately so taking on new students won't be an issue. I hope to give any student under my tutelage a thorough understanding of the subject material as well as some tips and tricks to help them master mathematics at any level.

Maths was not always my strong suit and therefore I understand what it is like to understand and it can be so frustrating for young learners. I however got 90% for maths lit in high school. In my degree at University we had a maths module which I passed with distinction. I am able to help young learners grasp maths concepts in a way that relates to their world.

I am able to teach mathematics in the Foundation Phase (Grade 1 -3). I will provide examples, worksheets and activities to improve your mathematics. I know that mathematics can be a struggle to some students, but I will do my best to make the subject enjoyable!

I have been teaching and coaching Maths from Grade R to 7 for the past 3 years- I have the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise to help you grow! Maths is my absolute favorite subject and having the procedures and processes to solve any problem, i believe Maths can be fun!

I have been teaching mathematics for 4 years and love seeing students understanding and snapping concepts for the first time. There is a way to learn maths and it needs a lot of practice. But with confidence and perseverance all goals can be achieved!

I am strong mathematics student and have received a certificate in being the best in my entire school when I was still in high school.Content knowledge: I am a math tutor who has very in-depth knowledge and understanding of mathematics. For example, if the tutor is teaching a student to isolate and solve for variables, not only should a tutor know how to do this, but understand the underlying math concepts in order to complete the process, understand why this problem is important to solving future math problems that may be more complex, and be able to identify and explain why and how this will apply to the next levels of math the student will tackle. Simply understanding the process explained by the textbook is not enough. A great math tutor should be able to explain why each step is important, why it works the way it does, and what other ways the problem can be approached. I have these qualities.

Mathematics is one of my favourite subjects to teach and tutor. I specialise in teaching core mathematics until grade 9, and have recently had the honour to tutor matrics in mathematical literacy. I struggled with mathematics after I was absent for two weeks in grade 8 thanks to being ill. After losing that foundational knowledge, I found the rest of the content difficult to understand. It was only with the help and support of an incredible tutor that I managed to achieve a distinction in matric. Thus, I know what it's like to struggle, and I also know various ways of explaining the same concept so that students with different learning styles and paces can still excel in the subject.
