I am a recent Psychology and Criminology graduate from Victoria University of Wellington and will begin my masters in Clinical Neuropsychiatry in September. I am an organised and reliable individual that aims to help students understand content on a deeper level as well as encouraging them to think critically and analytically. I have a strong passion for helping others achieve their goals and dreams and to reach their full potential. As a tutor, I will not only help students achieve their academic goals but also make learning fun by providing them with different learning tools and techniques.

Highschool tutor
In 2016, I was a tutor at Above Average School. I tutored grade 8 and 9 maths - and history and grade 12 geography. I planned weekly class content and homework, as well as preparing and marking class tests. I provided different learning techniques and tools (such as mind-maps and summaries) to help learners improve the way they learn
Aftercare Leader
In 2017, I volunteered as an aftercare leader at Bridget's aftercare which was based at a school for children with special needs. I assisted children with their homework, planning art and craft activities, making lunch and supervising play. I provided alternative learning techniques (such as counting buttons for math sums and flash cards for spelling words) to help learners improve the way they learn.
