I really love Mathematics especially grade 8 and 9. I was one of the top achievers as a junior in high school for the whole grade. Therefore, I'd really love to impart the knowledge I have acquired thus far to another learner

Apart from chemistry I love mathematics, it has always been one of my favorite subjects. I enjoy solving problems and deriving conclusions and useful interpretations from calculations made based on data I generate via my research projects. Mathematics has established that skillset within me and I make it a goal to share this skillset with others and teach students the beauty of mathematics. I have tutored many students to help them understand the key principles of studying mathematics which assisted them greatly in improving their mathematics marks. From 2016-2018 I participated in tutoring grade 12 mathematics to a few students in the local community, which they confirmed to enjoy and have truly been helpful to them. I am aiming to contribute more significantly to the community and encourage students to achieve greatly.

I have a good academic record, passion, and I am confident and eloquent with the technical, abstract and intuitive aspects in Mathematics. I am also a believer, a propounder of the theory that almost anyone can comfortably learn Mathematics.

I am driven to help students overcome barriers that impact their learning, and I am committed to educating students, colleagues, families, and the community through establishing strong connections. My mission is to help students to think critically, and motivate children to believe that they can succeed in achieving their dreams.

I am best Equipped with teaching this subject as my time as an intern teacher, the school that I was affiliated to focused immensely on maths groups and the way we can improve students mathematical abilities not only through book work but through fun activities too.

I have been teaching for many years at High School level. I taught for a short while at college/university level. I have trained teachers to teach mathematics. I have taken part in curriculum development with in a number of projects. I am always consulted by parents to help their kids and they have paid me handsomely for my work. I have taken learners from as low as 30% rates to over 70%. My studies outside mathematics (economics and MBA) have given me a wide view of the way people see and use mathematics.

I have a greater love and understanding for Maths than most people. I feel I have a knack for helping children connect with Maths theories. Throughout high school, I enjoyed Maths. Mathematics was also my highest mark in Grae 12, giving me the knowledge and confidence to teach this subject to other scholars.

I graduated on top of class in matric ,I got an A on this subject. I received numerous awards thought my high school career for this subject and I have excellent communication skills. My problem solving skills enable me to simplify complex topics and be able to make people understand things better.

I have a proven academic as well as mentoring record, achieving a 91 percent average in my matric year of which I scored 97% for Maths and 98% for advanced maths. During my campus years I simultaneously studied and tutored to other students and have developed a bit of nostalgia. I believe in understanding concepts, not memorizing formulae--this way learning becomes a fun activity and not the daunting task that it is usually perceived to be!

I have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and am able to convey these in a way that is understandable for all students regardless of where they are in their maths journey. I am very patient and am able to gauge what level the student is at and how best to explain the subject matter required.
