I received 94% in matric for Maths and graduated cum lade for my undergraduate in Maths. I received an average of 77.6% in my honours in Maths. I have tutored this subject for 6 years and was a teaching assistant at university for calculus.

I received an A in mathematics in high school and I did additional mathematics as well. We had a tutoring competition to help all students pass mathematics to see who achieved the highest mark and my students all passed with 2 receiving the highest marks of the batches tutored.

I am very good in numbers.Math has always been my best subject.I received a distinction for this in my final year at school.Moreover, I am still furthering math in university so it's something I am very familiar with and also enjoy doing. I am currently doing Calculus and Algebra.

Mathematics is the building block to critical thinking. If we do not have the correct foundation we will never grasp the mathematics at a more advanced level. Having a good understanding of mathematics opens the doors to many careers and is therefore a vital part of any curriculum.

My goal with tutoring is to assist and teach learners academic skills that will serve them well in school. I will partner with the learners to teach them to become independent participants in their own learning. During our time togther, skills like oraganization, task initiation, focus and time management, will be taught in order for the learners to have successfull learning experience.

I am studying engineering, and a large portion of my degree is based around mathematics. This has given me a lot of exposure to the subject, as well as the confidence to teach it to others. I have valuable resources to give and methods to teach.

I try to make the subjects interesting by relating the subjects covered to real life examples. I also try to teach my students to think carefully about what they are learning, rather than just learning topics mechanically.

I am very passionate about mathematics. I feel that mathematics is a very important subject in so many careers, and the skills of reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving gained from studying mathematics are crucial to being successful. I am a great mathematics tutor as I am very patient and able to teach students multiple ways of solving problems so as to figure out which problem-solving technique works best for each specific student.

I have always been mathematically inclined; having been an AP mathematics candidate in High School and having studied Statistics in University. I make mathematics easy and fun for all ages and can help with homework, test and exam preparations and study methods.

I'm currently studying one of the toughest degrees regarding mathematics. I love this subject and it opens up a new world that you can apply in everyday life. I believe that I can help you create this new world that will change your life forever
