Hi everyone, my name is Pauline Plambeck and I am 22 years old. I am currently in my second year of completing a Bcom degree at Vega University. I have been tutoring Maths, English and German for the past 2,5 years in both Germany and South Africa. I am a reliable, honest and an easygoing person.

I am currently completing my Bachelor of Laws at the University of Cape Town, having recently completed an Undergraduate degree in History and Law. I have been a tutor for 2 years, and it is something I'm extremely passionate about as I see it as a way to help other students achieve their full potential at all levels of education. I have strong organizational skills, which is something I aim to pass on to my students as I truly believe it is the first step to academic excellence.

I have a Bachelor's degree from UCT, with majors in English Literature and Psychology. During my studies at UCT I received a Golden Key award for outstanding academic performance. I went on to complete an Honour's degree in Clinical Psychology through UNISA. I also completed a TESOL certificate with 100hrs theory and 50hrs practical. I have taught In Thailand (at a language school and then a government high school) and for the past 4 years I have been a language tutor. I have also been teaching English online for the past year. I am passionate about teaching, especially languages. I love to be creative in designing my lesson plans and I make sure to incorporate learning strategies to suit each student's learning style. In my spare time I love to write fictional (and often fantastical) stories. I also enjoy reading and drawing. I am patient, creative, and hard-working. I am computer literate and have access to a quiet work space with a high quality web camera and microphone.

I have a passion for teaching and training people. While I was a student I loved teaching tutor classes and helping students reach their goals. I enjoyed Maths and Accounting at School for which I received distinctions for both. I have 2 years experience in tutoring High School Maths and Accounting as well as Afrikaans to both Primary and High School students. I received an overall distinction at High School and I am therefore the perfect tutor candidate.

I am a lecturer, assessor, and moderator in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology and Business management. I also do programme development. I am a trained Leadership coach and also provide career counselling. I provide supervision to research students and am offering guidance to students with projects, assignments and to prepare for presentations and exams.

I am a Mathematics and Science High School and College Teacher who has also taught primary school Intervention in English and Afrikaans as well as Mathematics. I have been very ill and hence have a voice problem but as soon as learners get used to my voice they understand it without any issue. I have been teaching for 35 years and have taught learners from 6-65 years of age. I am also an eternal student and love learning myself. I have a masters degree in Mathematics education. I am passionate about my learners and empathetic towards them and will go out of my way to help them in any way I can. My other interests include craft (sewing, embroidery, sewing, knitting], reading and music[ I love playing the piano]. I try to teach from going from the perspective of what you know and using it to get to what you do not yet know and have to learn. I expect my learners to practice and master the work we have covered in lessons so that we can progress easily. I do however understand that life happens and this is not always possible. If you do not understand a concept I will try to approach it from different angles until you do get it. Another of my pet things is to use real life examples especially from the learner's life so that the lessons are relevant and exciting to you. I believe lessons should be fun and something to look forward to so try to keep good humor going through out.

Hello! My name is Celine and I am a South African national. However, I did most of my schooling in the UK where I obtained 11 GCSEs, 2 AS-levels and 3 A2s. I am currently finishing off my Bachelor of Theology and TEFL course. I am planning on studying on further and also obtaining a Psychology Degree in the future. Subjects I am most passionate about are History, Psychology, Maths and English. I work with teenagers at a school currently and also work with youth at my local church. I believe in this generation!

I am an engineering student at UCT,very passionate about math and science and enjoy sharing knowledge to others. I am a 26 year old female. I did by B. Ed degree at Stellenbosch University and have been working as a Grade 5 teacher for 3 years, teaching all subjects. I love teaching Mathematics, languages and have a passion for art.
