Hi! My name is Caitlyn and I am a 23 year old university graduate from Cape Town! I have always been interested in tutoring and I will be completing my postgrad in education at UCT this year, so I would love to put what I learn into practice. I love to read, watch movies and series, listen to music and most importantly travel! I have a deep interest in current events as well as history - which is why I majored in Political Science and History at Stellenbosch University. I have completed my Teaching English in a Foreign Language course (TEFL), so I've got you covered when it comes to grammar! Hey guys, I'm a easy-to-talk-to 27 year old from Cape Town. I grew up in a few different places and traveled/worked internationally for three years. My Spanish and Dutch is basic, but my English and Afrikaans is magnificent! I've taught in a few different countries including Vietnam, the Netherlands and Chile. I studied Maths and Science, but also taught English for several years. I spend all my extra time outside, surfing, running and hiking. I've got tons of energy and the one thing I can say about myself is that I'm not boring. So whatever it is we need to figure out- we will do it. Hey there! I recently finished my Masters in Political Science at Stellenbosch University. I got my first job this year but it is only part-time meaning I have my afternoons open. I have tutored on and off since I was 16 years old - tutoring mainly Afrikaans and History. I am fluent in Afrikaans, getting 86% in Matric and also got 80% in high school for history. I did history throughout my undergraduate degree ad was very successful, getting a distinction for nearly every semester. Hello, I have a PhD in Chemistry from UCT and many years tutoring and demonstrating experience, teaching the second and third year chemistry courses. During undergrad I also took Maths and Physics (first year), Medicinal Chemistry and Physiology courses. My current area of research involves vaccine development.
