Hello! My name is Celine and I am a South African national. However, I did most of my schooling in the UK where I obtained 11 GCSEs, 2 AS-levels and 3 A2s. I am currently finishing off my Bachelor of Theology and TEFL course. I am planning on studying on further and also obtaining a Psychology Degree in the future. Subjects I am most passionate about are History, Psychology, Maths and English. I work with teenagers at a school currently and also work with youth at my local church. I believe in this generation!

I am a native English speaker and South African National. I moved to England in 2005 and lived there for a total of ten years. My schooling was almost all in the UK. As a native English Speaker and someone who has lived in two English speaking countries, I have a broad understanding of the language. In school I always did well in English Language and English literature because of my understanding of my native tongue. I have met people from a variety of countries and thrive to understand people of different nationalities and cultures. English is such a useful language in the year 2021, and I would love to share my knowledge with others.

I LOVE Maths! I always have. It is something about seeing numbers come together to find a solution that is just so incredible. Maths is so important in an ever-changing world where technology is getting better. Maths is required on a day to day basis. That is why I am passionate about primary school maths. Once you have set the foundation in terms of mathematic understanding, the rest of Maths makes so much more sense. I feel it is important to not rely solely on technology to do the maths for us. We should appreciate maths more and realise that it is in fact FUN! I believe basic addition, multiplication, division and subtraction are absolutely essential! That is why I am here to help you!

Psychology
I studied Psychology in England at an A-level standard and it is a subject that drives me till today. With the ever-changing world, psychology is needed more now than ever. Psychology has many aspects that can be looked at, as well as studies that allow us to better understand the human mind. We do not fully understand ourselves as mankind and why we do the things we do, however, psychology does bring light to a lot of areas. Psychology is a science, a social science. We look at society and study it deeply. This includes areas such a phobias/fears, genetic disorders, neuroanatomy, environmental impacts, and so on. Many things can impact us to become the people we are when we are older- psychology assists us in understanding why.
