I have a great passion for mathematics. It's important for me to initially determine which topics my student is struggling with and then I partner with my student to focus on the specific problem areas. Usually, I let my students practice as much as possible, in order for them to improve and reach the level they want to reach. The only way to improve math, is to DO math! Isn't it?

I taught maths to grade 2 learners for a year and a half. I came up with simple ways in which my scholars could remember division and multiplication, and these ways managed to work every time. I enjoy teaching maths.

Math has always been my best subject from primary school right through to matric where I achieved 94% and then went on to do even more math in university where I got my diploma in Electrical Engineering. When a lot of people think of math they think of foreign concepts with numbers, letters and strange symbols and immediately feel overwhelmed by just the thought of trying to figure out what it all means. I am here to tell you that math can be very easy once you understand that even the most complex problem is just a combination of many small problems thrown together. I will help you to learn how to take any math problem and break it down to it's simplest form and do it one small step at a time. I am an Electronic Engineer. My current work deals with the underlying concepts on a daily basis. I completed my degree at the University of Pretoria. I also have a few years teaching experience (primary school, high school and univeristy level) as well as being an assistant lecturer at the university.
