Math tutors in Eastern Cape

In grade 12 I obtained a distinction for mathematics, also throughout my school career I was always the top mathematics student. It has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my school career, I helped other students with mathematics. I am also continuously tutoring students in this subject.

Obtained 90+ for Maths in Matric. Able to do worked out examples for understanding. Have taught grade 10 to matric students. Student improvement atleast 20%. Continuous student engagement through practice of worked examples.

I majored in Math and Science. During my degree we did multiple practical’s. I learned several teaching skills. These skills consisted of methods and strategies that would be beneficial to all learning styles. I have had the opportunity to teach lessons during my practical experiences. I also tutor my younger sister, which has allowed me to practice and master these skills. It is important that students understand that they can utilise different approaches and still get the same outcome. This way learners develop independent thinking and therefore become more confident with their mathematical ability.

I gained an "A" grade at A-level for this subject, and was selected for numerous Maths challenges. I believe that this has given me the experience required to teach the subject at both a High and Primary School level.

I have always enjoyed this subject in high School and University. It comes easy to me because I make it fun to learn and understand. I am patient and simplify the complex ideas and methods to solve the problem.

It is a complex subject that many don't get or understand therefore I am willing to carry my knowledge and love about the subject over to someone who struggles with it . This isn't an east subject to understand and I know where a child is coming from when saying that.

I have a passion for mathematics, and I am currently studying towards a degree in mathematics too, I have also always done really well in the subject, and have done tutoring in the subject on a primary school level

As i scientist busy completing a PhD in Science I have over 8 years experience in academic Maths. As a teacher i have over 3 years experience in teaching Maths. As a professional scientist I have over 10 years experience in applying maths in real life situations.

I am good at one to one teaching, because I am extremely patient and I am willing to repeat aspects that learners do not understand, until they fully comprehend. I use different examples and questions to explain the same concept from different angles. I have marked Mathematics at NSC level November and understand what examiners look for in answers from students. I understand that some learners find the subject daunting, but I am very patient, as I have mentioned, and I have the ability to put learners at ease. I commit 100% to what I do and I am extremely diligent and I always prepare for lessons very thoroughly.

As a student i was always passionate about numbers. I could sit for hours trying to solve sums . My fellow classmates and friends could see that I was passionate and always asked for help when they needed it. Helping my friends and fellow students brought a different kind of fulfillment joy to my achievements. Besides my passion for numbers i obtained outstanding remarks, therefore i can say that i am the best tutor for this job
