I have always been a good critical thinker and like thinking outside the box. I enjoy working with children and it would be fulfilling to be able to help children in becoming the best student they can be and find some enjoyment in the subject. I also matriculated with a distinction in mathematics.

I've always had a great understanding for mathematics and enjoy helping people to understand the mathematics. I have always excelled at mathematics subjects. I don't believe in remembering recipes to help you pass your exams, if I am your tutor I will do my best to help you UNDERSTAND your work so you can excel in the subject.

I have experience tutoring Maths at a primary school and high school level. I am patient and happy to explain and demonstrate over and over until the concept is grasped. Maths in the younger high school years (Gr8 and 9) is the foundation for the older years, and I am confident in my ability to solidify these basics.

I achieved 95% in my matric exams and maintained this high standard in university achieving 97% for first year math. Since I am still a student I understand the problems that students face, as such I am able to explain concepts in a unique way that allows students to visualize a concept better in order to get a more thorough understanding.

I am currently a mathematics teacher at a high school level. I understand that mathematics builds logical and prospective reasoning for young adults. I enjoy geometric functions as well as basic mathematics such as statistics. I can help your child with any mathematical question no matter the level of basic or obscure.

I am patient, calm and would like to think I have that affect on people around me too. I have a passion for helping others- especially children. Mathematics has always been one of my strengths and passions. I excelled at a high school level achieving over 80% for my final mark. I am currently in my second year and taking MAM2000w [Second year calculus]. I feel that I am the best tutor for this subject as I have learnt numerous ways to go about completing mathematical equations which will help adapting to the students methodology and aid in their way of thinking. I completed the IEB curriculum at school where I achieved 91% for Maths in Matric. I also did Advanced Programme Mathematics from grade 10 until grade 12, and then did Pure Maths in my first year at Stellenbosch University. My NBT results were also 91% for the Maths section and 89% for the Maths Literacy section. I thoroughly enjoy problem-solving which makes mathematics one of the favourite subjects of my analytical mind! Because of how much I love this subject, I am really passionate about helping others learn and enjoy it, rather than just having to do it as a chore. I am patient and in school and at university, I helped many of my friends to understand the work.
