Working with the student and their level of understanding. I assess past exams and/ or a problem section eg: trig , or mechanics and decide on the extra work . Math and Science need strong foundations and often gaps or scattered understanding lead to shaky thinking.

I believe I am best tutor because I have experience working with high school students who completely had no idea about a particular field in mathematics and I worked together with them to give them the understanding given what they new and then added on their knowledge .

I have been a Mathematics tutor since 2015 and a Science tutor since 2018. I have achieved a mark of 81% for Pure Mathematics, 82% for Physics and 70% for Chemistry when I completed my AS-Levels. I also achieved a mark of 93% and 83% for WTW 158 and WTW 164 respectively. These are two first-year Calculus modules. For my first-year Physics module, FSK 116, I achieved a mark of 84% and for my Chemistry modules, CHM 171 and CHM 181, I achieved a mark of 89% and 85% respectively.

I have always loved mathematics and science. They are things that have always made sense to me. I achieved a high mark for physics and maths in school and even almost considered continuing with maths into university. I come from a history of mathematics with my father having become a maths teacher at the early age of only 19. I would love the opportunity to make someone else fall in love with maths and science and see that it is not something to be scared of but something to be enjoyed.

I am a qualified Life Science teacher for grades 10, 11 and 12. I also have a science degree: A BSc degree in Human Life Science from the University of Stellenbosch. I had pure mathematics and physical science as subjects through high school. I also took physics , chemistry and mathematics modules in my first year of university studies and a specialized chemistry module: biochemistry, in my second year.

I achieved a final mark of 94% for mathematics and 92% for Physics and Chemistry in my NCS exams. I am currently studying Industrial Engineering where I had more mathematics, physics and chemistry courses. I learned even more ways and tactics to master these subjects at university and I will love to teach students and scholars how to master these subjects as I have.

I have prior experience on these subjects.I have taught 2-3 years in college.I have taken practicals as well for same. I am going to clear basics of the students first then by giving assignment I will clear each and every doubt of the students progressively.
