General Maths & Science tutors in KwaZulu-Natal

I have an interest in figures, solving equations and finding solutions. I am really fascinated by the science world. I love trying to find solutions to equations. I enjoy teaching and talking about Maths and Science .

I was never great at Mathematics when I was in school. I eventually dropped it in Gr9. When I started studying for you degree I majored in Maths. I didn't want to miss a subject because I didn't do it at school. I did the subject and loved it. Its easy once it gets explained to you in the way you understand it. Science is great. It's interesting, amazing and mind blowing. It teaches you so much about the world, chemicals, animals etc that you would have learnt in general.

My younger brother struggled for most of his early school life with mathematics so I took it upon myself to help make it fun for him instead of frustrating. I was able to simplify methods and help him better understand the concepts in math and he did so much better. I then started tutoring other high school students in Pure Mathematics. Being a Mathematics and Science tutor is more than teaching maths, its instilling belief in my students to work to the best of their abilities. To cultivate each-and-every student to believe in themselves beyond what they think their capabilities are. Mathematics and Science are subjects that requires a calm mind and confidence, and I believe that I will be able to create this for my students, while covering the necessary content.

I am extremely passionate about this subject matter. Having found great success on a personal academic level. I believe I have the skills and tools to help you perform at the best of your ability! My aim is to give you a strong foundation knowledge of the principles of this subject. This will allow you to apply your mind to any situation you come across. By having these skills, you will find great success.

I am currently working as a research lab technologist at HIV Pathogenesis Program registered under University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine). I have Masters in Medical Science, a degree in BSc Biomedical Sciences and Honours degree in Medical Science (Biochemistry).

I am confident and very skilled in this subject. I studied maths and science in high school, and specialized in it in university, so I am qualified to teach most of the topics involved in mathematics and science. The knowledge I possess accommodates primary and high school scholars.

I have 16 years experience in teaching Math and Science to a range of students from the ages of 8 to 14 years old. I am passionate and am always looking for new, exciting and interesting ways to teach my students so that they love learning.
