I have worked as an Extra Maths and Science teacher for over 12 years at Michael Mount Waldorf and various other schools in Bryanston/Sandton, Johannesburg. In March this year, I moved to Cape Town to be closer to my son and am looking to continue teaching here. I have worked with students with learning difficulties and have experienced that most problems are overcome with interest and patience. Third year BSc student in Maths and Physics with Unisa. My study interests are Neuroscience, Mathematics and Science.

Working with the student and their level of understanding. I assess past exams and/ or a problem section eg: trig , or mechanics and decide on the extra work . Math and Science need strong foundations and often gaps or scattered understanding lead to shaky thinking.

The time is set by the individual since everyone is different , and I teach to suit the student . Initially we start with a past paper or short assessment test , and see which way to go from there. Math as an interesting subject and a great one when taught well.
