Maths was my favourite subject in school ! I was lucky in the fact that I always understood what to do - I'd say I have a numbers brain. My friends didn't always understand and I realised I loved to teach by helping them - sometimes you need another student to help you as they are able to simplify into ways you can understand.

Mathematics can be fun, most people don’t see the fun in it. Sorry for the cliché, but it’s true. I also hated mathematics until I made the mind shift and learnt the correct methods to study maths. Now I basically study maths and I love it.

I had modules on teaching Mathematics in University. I also have experience teaching mathematics to Grade 1 at Westerlig Primary. I did a Brainbooster course about different techniques on how to approach mathematics for different ages. I have a mathematics kit to help children develop mathematical skills.

I have tutored multiple students Mathematics. From grade 4 to grade 11 and each person passed with flying colours. I enjoyed helping them understand topics they struggled with and seeing them improve every time.

I am currently studying towards a science degree so I have had a lot of experience with all things mathematics and science related to quite some extent. I have had three different mathematics modules during my university years alone and I also had mathematics until matric. When I was still at school I also had a mathematics tutor which helped me a lot, and I would like to help other students in the same way too.

I have completed my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and through this acquired the valuable skill of critical thinking and problem solving. I will therefore be able to help you solve any mathematical problem.

I am patient when you don’t understand and will try different methods when you don’t understand. I have previous tutoring experience and flexible hours. I have different books to my dispose. Can tutor in Afrikaans and English.

I am passionate about mathematics and would love to teach younger students that mathematics should not be a subject that stirs up anxiety in them. I passed mathematics with distinction in both matric and University.

I achieved an A+ for Mathematics in matric and also achieved a distinction for the Advanced Programme of Mathematics (as part of the IEB syllabus). I also achieved a distinction for mathematics in my first year of Computer Engineering

When I was in high school I joined the peer tutoring program and have been tutoring maths ever since. I have tutored from grade 8 up to grade 12 and have also tutored first year calculus so I have 8 years of tutoring experience. I know how to break seemingly complex concepts down into simple blocks. I have spent a lot of time helping students regain confidence in their ability to do maths.
