At school I excelled at subjects which needed understanding and not just memorizing facts. I therefore excelled at maths as I understood it. Once one understands this, the "trying to memorize everything" part before a test falls away and is replaced with practice and understanding the basic principles and building on that.

I love working with younger children. My degree has helped me to understand all aspects of a child and I will incorporate this into my tutoring. I achieved both 89% for Advanced Program Mathematics as well as Higher grade mathematics.

I completed my NSS in 2013 and currently I am a second year mechatronic engineering student at the Tshwane University of Technology. I have good skill teaching children as well as having interesting ways to teach and help. I am 22 years old and Afrikaans is my first language although all my studies are in English. I am also currently busy with the World Skills competition where we have to design and build a robot that can play Ten Pin Bowling or Tetris autonomously we are the current South African champions and will be contending in Abu Dhabi in October.

As a medical student (4th year @ the University of Pretoria), I am able to explain and teach all Mathematical and Scientific topics in an easy-to-understand way. We will find the best way for you to understand and recognise what it required from you, then work on recipes to approach the topics.
