As someone who is VERY much used to going through the difficult and frustrating process of learning a mathematical concept for the first time, I know how great it feels to finally have something click. Although it's not exactly the same, helping a student reach this understanding does give me a similar satisfaction. At the same time, I can't help but want to try and dispel the notion that "maths is hard."

This is the most important subject connecting most of the subjects and I put most of my time mastering this subject and it became my home language. I have got distinctions along the way and I have helped a number of students to understand mathematics better and quicker.

My love for numbers and teaching is what makes me a suitable candidate for Mathematics tutoring. I have tutored Mathematics for over 5 years and all my students are happy with my work. I obtained 84% for Mathematics in Matric.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, as well as a BCom Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management. I have a done the Teaching English as a Foreign Language online course (TEFL) which has sharpened my teaching skills significantly. I enjoy teaching Mathematics. I am also competent in Physics, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, English and Finance.

I have a huge passion for mathematics and I am very knowledgeable in this subject as I am currently studying BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. I am able to assist any student with every aspect of mathematics at a primary and high school level. With my extensive mathematical knowledge, I can assist with almost every question that can be thrown at me and teach it in an understandable way to my students.

At school I excelled at subjects which needed understanding and not just memorizing facts. I therefore excelled at maths as I understood it. Once one understands this, the "trying to memorize everything" part before a test falls away and is replaced with practice and understanding the basic principles and building on that.

I am maths graduate and have gained the tools for mathematical analysis and best course/s of action in the application of mathematics fundamentals while working in a research facility. I am able to confer strategies for challenging or abstract ideas and concepts.

I believe I am well suited to be a maths tutor as I have enamoured with mathematics and it's intracacies from a young age! Moreover, I have completed (and achieved distinctions in) mathematics up to a second year undergraduate level.

I find fun and easy ways to make you understand. Math isn't the enemy. Its all about practice. Mathematics is one of my favorite subjects and I find it interesting to teach and it satisfies me when I am able to pass that knowledge to my students.

I am currently studying a degree where mathematical and statistical skills are essential. I feel I have developed the skills needed to teach others the fundamental principals of how mathematics truly works. I also feel I make the subject enjoyable in the way I teach the person the subject.
