I have a passion for mathematics. I love teaching maths because it is such an important subject, and can be easy if you understand the basic principles. It is also fun if you enjoy puzzles and problem solving.

I have always helped my friends with Mathematics during my High School years and found the concepts easy to understand. I use different methods to grasp the concepts better and make the work as easy as possible. I did very well in my finals and would love to help others do so as well.

I love working with numbers. I can explain Maths concepts in simple terms. I'm creative, so I make learning fun. I have several years of experience as a Maths teacher at an independent school and as a private Maths tutor.

I have completed pure maths and AP maths through the IEB syllabus in high school, as well as further Calculus and Financial math modules in university. Maths can be daunting but I am enabled to help encourage students to conquer any difficulty through simplification of principles and consistent practice. I am a calm and patient tutor, delighted to help kids enhance their own abilities.

I am a data engineer and a qualified data scientist, I deal with stats on a daily basis. I believe this coupled with my passion for subject makes me the best candidate for the position. I also have a Business Science Degree, in which I have completed multiple modules on these subjects.

In the last few years I have gained the skills and experience to vary my tutoring methods to cater to each individual student. I have a great understanding of the subject and I take the time to make sure the student gains a full understanding of the concept at hand.

Maths is my favorite subject. I have a very good understanding of all concepts of math and often participate in extra curricular math programs . I always receive a distinct for maths and have placed 2nd in my grade for my maths understanding. I also partake in Applied Programed Mathematics, where i receive further understanding of maths.

I have tutored maths for 3 years and achieved a distinction in mathematics in highschool, did advanced program maths and have a degree in biomedical engineering which required I do two years of engineering maths.

I have a great deal of experience tutoring students in this subject at the University of Pretoria and the surrounding High schools. Mathematics is my strong point and I love to help students to unlock their potential.

Of my 1100 hours of one-on-one private tuition, 276 were for mathematics. I am familiar with GDE, IEB, CIE, and UK syllabi and all their methods of problem-solving and exam requirements. I have also completed a BSc in Physics with applied mathematics electives which secures my knowledge of the subject.
