I have a lot of experience and have a passion for mathematics. I can teach in different ways so that I adapt to a way that suits the learners. I am currently studying to be a teacher. I did well at maths in high school. I even did advanced programming mathematics. I am patient and hard working. I am willing to go the extra mile to help learners to understand.

I achieved 92% for Core Mathematics at IEB Matric level, and 81% for AP Mathematics as IEB Matric Level. My maths skill is very high, and I can communicate with young people very effectively. I feel I can get through to students and younger people at a one-on-one level.

I tutored a 9 year old and a 13 year old who both struggled tremendously with Maths, we did mutliplication tables every day and I helped the older boy with Kumon maths. I did Kumon maths up to level E when i was younger.

Math is a subject that I have been enjoying all my life. I have tutored math before and it truly warms my heart to see students grasping and understanding mathematical concepts. I do think that I have a natural feel for math and I would like to help scholars really enjoy and excel in the subject.

Firstly, my teaching philosophy is to minimise the students weaknesses and teach to the students strengths. I have the skillset to identify the types of learning styles the student has and to be able to present information in a way that has the greatest effect. my main goal in tutoring is to build confidence in the student and to enhance their study skills and overall performance. I know I will be able to do this because I am a compassionate person and I am able to build a good rapport with the student. I am also empathetic, non-judgemental, enthusiastic, a good listener and most of all, patient. I am passionate about this particular subject at a primary school level and I have extensive knowledge that I would like to share to the student. In addition, I do have experience in teaching Math at a primary school level, that is why I will be the perfect candidate.

I performed excellently in high school mathematics. I achieved a civil engineering degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, during which I completed two years of engineering mathematics, building on the work I had studied in high school. I fully understand the mathematical curriculum and am fully capable of helping others to understand and break down problems and to achieve their full mathematical potential

I am a person that loves calculations and understand it. I helped a couple of students in the past which includes my friends to pass Maths. As I'm only 18 I still know how to explain it to schoolchildren as I am also still quite young. I have a sense of maths and I can prove it with my marks. I had the MATH100 module for the first semester of 2020 and finished it with an average of 89%. To me, this is quite an achievement. I'm great with Algebra, Stats, Finance, and Trig. I'm a hardworking individual and If I don't know something I will research and externally consult with my students until we both understand it fully. I am a fully qualified mathematician with a BSc in math. I have four years experience working for one of the best tutoring companies. The experience I have allows me to understand nuances in helping out a student with a specific section or teaching them long term to help build better math understanding.

As a student of Economics Education, I took math courses throughout my 4years at the university, and also working with students with unique learning style for over 10 years has equipped me on how to differentiate and adapt math and science curriculum base on students learning style. Having a good understanding on visual, audio and kinesthetic base-lessons to promote a deeper understanding of any subject, and knowing that a variety of stimuli together with a student interest produces effective and lasting result in learning, has always been my magic wand.

Math is one of my favourite subjects and I had it for two years at university level. I also enjoy simplifying it as much as I can in order for people to understand. I have had to tutor my sister throughout high school.
