Hello, I am Wedu Promise Mokibito, a 22 year old from Botswana. I an Actuarial Science Student at the University of Cape Town. I am patient and kind. I like to help out where I can. Previously, I have been a Mathematics 1000 (Level 1 Mathematics at UCT) and Computer Science 1 tutor for Rochester House(A UCT residence). This was in 2019. I’m a 28yr old English Teacher living in Cape Town, SA. I graduated from UCT with a BA in organizational psychology and English Language and Literature. I then completed my PGCE in 2018, majoring in English Language and Literature for High School. I’ve taught both EFL and Home Language. This past year, I taught at a High School in Wynberg, Cape Town. Teaching is my passion.

I am currently doing my PhD in chemistry working on metal hydrides for hydrogen storage. As part of my honours and masters degrees, I dutied as a chemistry tutor for undergraduate students. This rewarding experience gave me better understanding of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and physical chemistry for University and college students. Furthermore, I am able to teach physical science at high school level.

I'm a qualified Medical Scientist who have worked in academia and industry for the past 5 years. Prior to this I have worked as an Educator Assistant at the Cape Town Science Centre where I had the wonderful opportunity of educating and inspiring learners of all ages, daily. I have tutored many students over the years and have taken up courses such as Supplemental Instruction (SI) to assist me in bettering my skill as a tutor. I am passionate human biology, but even more so I am passionate about helping people reach their potential so that they may succeed at the goals they set out for themselves.

I have been working at one of the leading schools in South Africa for over a year. I specialized in Afrikaans where I took students from 40% to over 70% as their end of the year mark. I make learning fun and interesting and use ideas that is relevant to you, to help make learning interesting. I'm busy completing my undergraduate at the University of Cape Town and I major in Environmental and Geographical Science, Historical Studies and Gender Studies. I am passionate about education and I cannot wait to work with you!

I am passionate about working with children of all ages. As cliche as it may sound, I firmly belive that the children are the future of this country. In order to make a different, we need to be focusing on instilling values and morals into our young children. This is where the change occurs, at a grassroots level. By instilling these values and morals into our children, we are giving them the power to change the narrative of their lives. Regardless of religion, political or economic status, they all have the potential to grow up and be the next leaders of this country and to be great. The future of our country rests on producing educated individuals and I would like the opportunity to be a part of the movement towards a better and brighter future for our youth.

My name is Nomvelo Zungu. I recently graduated from Rhodes University with a BA Honours in Psychology. I am a recent Computer Science graduate, with a Bachelors degree and Honours degree. I am currently looking for a job in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. Throughout my academic career at the University of the Western Cape, I have acquired multiple personal and professional skills that would make a great addition to any team and organization. These skills include programming, project management, communication, being constantly eager to learn, to adapt and embrace change. I enjoy creatively solving problems and being exposed to different types of projects. My personal objective/ career objective is to build a long-term career in the field of Computer Science with great opportunities for learning more and growing my career. I have worked on multiple projects under the following fields: big data, Internet of things (IoT), and Machine Learning. My research thesis was based on Smart Cities, where I was required to conduct research on Smart parking and build a Smart Parking System prototype. I am currently doing my Masters in Computer Science, and my research project is under Big data and IoT.

I am from a small town in the Eastern Cape called Burgersdorp. I attended Grey College Secondary 2011-2015. I was enrolled in University of the Free State from 2016-2019, where I completed my B.Acc undergrad and B.Acc(Hons) postgrad. I am currently employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers(PwC) in Cape Town as a 1st year assurance associate.. I am fluent in Afrikaans and English and completed my degrees in English. I am very easy to talk to and not socially awkward at all.
