My name is Nomvelo Zungu. I recently graduated from Rhodes University with a BA Honours in Psychology. As an ambitious professional with group and individual instruction experience, I believe that I would make an excellent tutor. Tutoring, at its core, is based on learning approaches that are decided upon according to the goals and strengths of the student. I believe this is what differentiates between a successful tutor and learning session, vs an unsuccessful session. Identifying improved approaches, that make learning and revising an easier and more enjoyable task for learners, are activities that drive and inspire me. Exploration, creative pursuit, and motivation are my framework for success. My former roles as a Group Counsellor, tutor and mentor, have played a key role in helping me develop skills and abilities that a critical when working with students, both individually and within groups. I pride myself in my essential activity-based teaching and student progress reporting talents. I have developed strong communication abilities and fostered a reputation as a key contributor through motivation and interpersonal skills. Through these qualities, I have confidence in my ability to facilitate positive attitudes towards learning and performance. For a greater illustration of my background and qualifications, please review my enclosed resume. I thoroughly appreciate your consideration. Sincerely, Nomvelo Zungu
