I achieved a distinction for Maths in matric, over 70% for Maths Paper 3, and have studied complex calculus and statistics throughout my varsity career. I have also practically applied various abstract mathematical concepts to design projects and can therefore assist students in seeing the value of what they are learning

I've matriculated with distinctions in Math, Physical and Life Sciences. I currently study Science at UCT and I have a huge passion for education and science education in particular. I've also tutored Math and Science for 4 years and seen students flourish and achieve their goals.

I am passionate about helping students to do better at school and improve their overall academic achievements. A solid foundation in primary school is vital to progress and excel in high school. I aim to provide such a service to my students.

The combination of these two subjects has intrigued me...so much so that I decided to become an engineer. I did maths throughout my school career. While in high school, I also did pure maths and received very good results. While studying my Bachelor of Education Degree, I also did maths for two years while not only studying concepts but methods of teaching.

I am studying a Bachelor of Science at UCT, and have always had a passion for Chemistry and Physics. I achieved 96% for Physical Sciences and 92% for Maths in my final NSC examinations in 2018. I have experience tutoring learners in Physical Science through an outreach programme and have sound knowledge of all the concepts covered.
