My home language is English. I have 4 years experience teaching English. I matriculated with a 90% average in English. I have a very good understanding of the language and the primary and high school syllabus.

Primary students needs the basic rules and these are sometimes boring but we can have fun with it For the older students the secret lies in getting use to the way people write and speak properly so we will spend some time enjoying reading about your favourite hobby while learning about the language

I love the English language and have a flair for Academic and Creative writing. When I was in first year in my first undergraduate degree I was tutoring Shakespearean English to the second year class. Since then I have completed a Proofreading and copy editing Diploma and a TEFL with an additional Business English teaching certificate. I am now enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts programme in Creative Writing, and my Master of Arts degree was a Thesis. I also ran the Academic Writing programme at the institution I work at for the last 7 years.

Being fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English makes me accutely aware of the minor mistakes and I have a patron to help people understand the rules of languages I know that languages and the rules seem like it is irrelevant and that “dude, I speak it everyday” (do people still use the word dude), but trust me, it is the small things that distinguish you from the average Joe...

Since programming is very particular about syntax, order and logical structures I have translated my skills in debugging code to identifying errors in text and extracting specific meanings of phrases and sentences.
