I am a fun loving, intellectual person who enjoys tutoring. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University. I have a vast tutoring background, I have, privately and through companies, tutored both high school and primary school students in Mathematics and English. Through my tutoring history I gained proficiency in using teaching techniques such as TPR, games and using props. I understand that each student has their own individual learning style and I like to get to know my students so that I can adapt my teaching style to suit their needs.

Mathematics has been my favorite subject for as long as I can remember. I enjoy figuring out numbers and theorems. It is because of this love that I studied engineering. I believe that I will be great at explaining and illustrating mathematical concepts that a student may struggle with. I believe that I can do this in a professional yet enjoyable manner. I have quite a bit of experience in this as I have been tutoring mathematics, on and off, for over five years. I prepare worksheets and class exercises that combine well with the curriculum.

I have quite a lot of experience tutoring English as I have been tutoring both high school and primary school students English for a while now. I like to make learning the English language fun by incorporating learning games into my sessions. I hold Tefl certification, which also assists in the different and innovative methods of teaching the English language.
