I have a degree from the University of Stellenbosch in Language and Culture with a double major in English Studies and Psychology. Au Pair/Tutor
My duties as an Au Pair and Tutor to two young girls included daily homework and tutoring sessions. Each day would include an hour to two hours of homework and revision, as well as extra work provided by myself when time allowed. The two young girls had a home language of Afrikaans, which allowed me to help them improve their English language skills.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language - i-to-i TEFL
I have obtained a certification from the i-to-i TELF Academy for a 200Hour course in teaching English as a foreign language. A large portion of this course dealt with teaching students, including young learners, on a one-on-one basis using techniques specific to the student's preferences.
BA Language and Culture - University of Stellenbosch
I have obtained a degree in Language and Culture from the University of Stellenbosch. English Studies was one of my two majors, the second being Psychology.
