I'm very passionate and patient with people and enjoy teaching. My background: I was born in Mozambique, moved to South Africa 31 years ago. I am very fluent in Portuguese, English, Tsonga, Zulu. Southern sotho and xhosa I'm able to communicate fairly well but not very fluent.

I hold a Bachelor Degree in Social Anthropology and History from the then University of Natal. I also hold two Honours Degrees in Social Anthropology and Political Sciences (International Politics) The latter degree was completed over a year at Unisa so my knowledge of certain courses in International Politics at Honours level is still fresh. I also taught at the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology as a lecturer for Second Year and Honours level. Currently, I am employed as a researcher. This year I am registered as a Masters student in International Relations and my research focus is on climate change. Although I passed my Honours Degree in International Politics within a year, I am very much aware of the mistakes I did especially when it comes to assignments and preparations for examinations. I would like to share my experiences with others as well as increase my academic knowledge through interaction.

My name is Rachel Kroukam and I am currently studying at the University of Pretoria. I am studying Foundation Phase Education and am in my third year. I can speak fluent English and can understand Afrikaans and a little bit of Zulu. My main focus is on the foundation phase (Grades 1-3) but can also assist in the intermediate and senior phases. My name is Sadaf, I am a second year Chemical engineering student. My main goal is to help others appreciate science and maths as much as I do. I myself struggled immensely as a high school student with maths and science which is why I know exactly where students go wrong when studying for these subjects.
