I am an outgoing and bubbly individual with a keen passion for teaching and I am currently studying towards my PGCE in order to become a full time teacher. I have been teaching my whole life whether it was helping out my little sister with her homework to formal tutoring undertaken during my varsity years. I graduated both my degree and honours with distinction and want to use the knowledge I have gained to help other people. I am really interested in being challenged in terms of finding out new and interesting ways to explain concepts to students until they understand it. I am a dedicated and patient individual. If I undertake a tutoring job my ultimate aim will be to pass on the knowledge I have gained in my studies and through my experience in order to assist the student in understanding their work and passing their tests. When I tutor it is extremely important to me to create an open environment where no question is viewed as "stupid", in fact one will find that "stupid" questions are far more common than not and I want my students to feel that I have created a safe place for them to ask ANY and ALL questions to which I will answer to the best of my ability. I do not profess to know everything but what I can do is learn the answer to any question and make sure I teach the student that answer. My goal as your tutor is to help you pass your subject no matter what that takes, and I will keep trying and changing my methods, techniques and examples until that goal is achieved. So what do you say? Shall we start learning together?

Mathematics makes up some of the fundamentals required to take certain scientific and engineering subjects. Without a good foundation in these skills, students will find it difficult in their high school years to grasp math concepts. I am passionate about understanding maths as it also teaches learners critical and logical thinking patterns as well as problem solving. I want to help students achieve the best mark they can and lay down their foundation in order to succeed in high school and tertiary institutions.

Reading is a fundamental life skill which you need in order to get an education. An education is your stepping stone to your future. I would love to assist young people in learning the different consonants and vowels and putting all of things together to make words and sentences. My aim will be to teach you to read with comprehension.
