My studies as a mechanical engineer focused on the principles of science and mathematics. Therefore, I have in depth knowledge and understanding in this field. Furthermore, I have lots of tutoring experience with children of different academic needs and can thus together I can help you achieve your academic goal.

I am extremely passionate about mathematics, at the end of grade 11 I achieved a high 80 in core maths and science and I have since tutored family and friends. I believe maths and physics is simple when the basics are taught concisely and thoroughly in order for more complicated concepts to be understood and PRACTISED.

I am patient and can simplify explanations. I enjoy teaching mathematics and love to see learners grow in confidence and achieve their potential. I will go the extra mile to ensure learners understand a topic

I naturally love Mathematics and Science. I have mentored many of high school students and their marks improved significantly after that. I am patients because I know that not all students are the same and we all learn at different rates. I am a University student and I am well experience with the the high school work load and work.

I worked hard in maths and science throughout school. No doubt they are challenging subjects. My university career is within the field of science, and in terms of maths- primary school maths is my favorite to teach and high school maths is rewarding to teach.

I am a graduate electrical engineer with great passion for success, career development and active learning. I have previous work experiences in electrical engineering and safety engineering. Having completed my postgraduate study last year at University of the Witwatersrand I have decided to tutor younger students and others who needed extra help. I am good at mathematics, general mathematics, information technology and sciences. I have good organisational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, problem solving, project management and negotiating skills. I am proactive, creative, energetic, business oriented and I pay attention to details. I also have good information and communication technology skills.

I was taught to never lose my curiosity and to always ask questions. The answers I got were never straight-forward, but rather taught me how to think so that I can figure it out by myself. I believe this is the best way to learn (especially with Maths) and always try to foster thinking skills instead of providing a single answer to a problem.

I matriculated from an IEB school with a distinction in Maths and absolutely loved the problem solving aspect of it. Along with Science these subjects might seem intimidating but together I'll help you master them.

I passed maths in GR-12 with 78% and related best performer award given to recognise my hard work @High school 2005. I passed both Calculus, Calculus & linear algebra during my BSc undergraduate degree in 2007. I also personally taught extra-class in both Calculus and linear algebra in 2008-2009 to help student pass it as they battled in to graduate then. I specialized with maths, science/NS also in my PGCE at Unisa. I passed all chemistries, Physics I, Molecular & Cell biology, botany till 2nd year. I also specialised in Tech/NS/Maths/SOS/EMS FOR MY PGCE at Unisa.

I am at then end of completing my self study BSc with UNISA and I know from my own experience and from teaching and tutoring experience, what any will need to achieve their goals in maths and science.
