I am a PhD graduate in Chemistry and enjoy teaching Chemistry and Biology. I have always held highly the fact that knowledge is far more valuable when shared thus teaching is an important part of any academics’ life journey. My passion for Chemistry has given me enthusiasm and a desire to bring out passion in everyone that I teach. My teaching vision is to motivate students to develop their own learning interests, which is indispensable in foundation education as students can identify and harness their scientific abilities at an early stage. It is also important that students freely express their unique perspectives, which fosters dialogue and challenges critical thinking. This stimulates the students’ curiosity and they will actively learn and seek new knowledge rather than feeling as if they are being forced to learn. Presentation of study material should be in an interesting and interactive way to students encouraging them to want to learn and help to retain more information.
