I am a student at the University of Pretoria and I have majored in English. I am extremely passionate about English as I believe that it is a not merely a subject, but an important foundation that inquiring, young minds must have the opportunity to build on in order to express themselves later on in life.

I am currently completing a teaching degree and have worked for four years at a children's camp.

I was born and raised in Tsakane, passed my matric with satisfying results that landed me a place at university of wits were I am now doing Bachelor of Education, currently 3rd year, I am currently a sport sub-commander (house prefect) were I am residing, I play for wits student team soccer and a mentor at Wits WCCU academy.

I am a purpose-driven, punctual young lady who believes that education is the best form of empowerment. I love challenges and I have a special admiration for languages. I have worked with learners who struggle with studying or self-motivation and I have previous au pair experiences. One important point: I will always go the extra mile if it is a mutual understanding.

I am an enthusiastic, vibrant and well-rounded 24 year old lady and I have just completed my Masters in Environmental Science. My passion rests in the environment and its interactions with humans. I also have work experience in the environmental field. I love the outdoors, reading, sports and fitness, music and dancing. I am a kind-hearted natural leader who prides herself in helping others by encouraging them while the learn in fields that I have knowledge in. I enjoy seeing people excel and achieve their goals.

I am a 3rd year Music Student and I have interests in literature and poetry. I love working and interacting with people and my purpose in life is to influence people's lives positively and win a Grammy.

I have studied 2 years in a Fine Art degree, taking English Literature as an additional major. I love language and art passionately, and want to spark that same excitement that I feel about it in the students that I tutor. I want to use the experience I have gained to help university and school students reach their academic goals in a way that will benefit their future studying.

I currently live in Braamfontein, Johannesburg as a Wits student doing my 3rd and final year in Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English, Philosophy and International Relations at Wits University. I am from Ladysmith in KZN but have lived in Johannesburg since 2014 because of school. My hobbies include reading, playing football (never call it Soccer in my presence) as well as the occasional video game I am a friendly, open person who takes joy in the experiences of learning as well as teaching. I also like to socialize and get to know people from different walks of life and learn through communication and open-mindedness.

My name is Alexandra but I prefer Lexi. I am currently studying to be an english teacher through Unisa. I love to travel and learn new languages! I have lived abroad for half of my life, first in Greece as a child and then after school in Germany.
