As I am two months away from attaining my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English I feel that I have an extensive theoretical knowledge on the subject at hand. Tutoring as an English consultant provides me with the practical skill set needed to ensure success in this field. I am extremely hard working, adaptable and work well with all age groups.

It was one of my favorite subjects at school and I enjoy explaining the literature to students in a logical and fun way. I obtained high marks for this subject throughout my school career and I have quite some experience in teaching this subject as well

Studying literature is critical for a student to develop the analytical tools to help with communication and learning that becomes important at university and in the work place. I strive to help the student enjoy this subject too as a love for literature is a great thing to have too.

I have received 2 degrees in this field and have a passion for literature that I believe I could pass on. I will make any setwork understandable and exciting! I can help understand character development, the plot main points and identify key quotations that would boost any literature essay!

I've always been an avid reader and lover of stories. In high school I took Advanced Program English, which was predominantly literature based, and received above 85% in my final exam. I then took English literature at a university level and received a first class distinction. My marks speak for themselves, but my passion is what sets me apart.

My name is Kiara Parsad. I am a third-year student at the University of the Witwatersrand, studying a Bachelor of Education. I live in South Africa, Johannesburg using English as my native language. I am also qualified with a TEFL certificate. I have always had a passion for teaching from a young age therefore I have decided to pursue it as a career option. I have 4 years of teaching experience. 3 years has been a classroom teaching experience at primary schools in my area. I have taught various subjects for grades 4-8 as a substitute teacher. I also have 4 years of tutoring experience. This has been facing to face and one on one lessons via tutoring agencies in South Africa. I also have gained 3 years of tutoring online experience, again various subjects and grades. I am dedicated to my job and my learners. My learners are always a priority and I leave no stone unturned to ensure they are coping and making progress in learning. I motivate my learners to reach their full potential. I am dedicated and diligent towards my job. I use many different teaching techniques and strategies that I have learned through my degree which makes learning fun and interactive.

I am currently teaching Sepedi in Grade 6 and I wish to teach English as it is my home language. Teaching someone English will be a dream came true and I’d produce high results as I am always best in all I teach

I enjoy reading and have been exposed to alot of analytical skills not only in high school but University as the various modules required an in depth analysis of various authors and different pieces of writing.This has helped me to give out lessons that focus on students zoning on on critical thinking and formulating various opinions while presenting their work in an coherent manner.
