Afrikaans is probably one of the subjects most students struggle with. I will help my students to gain a better understanding in the subject and receive a distinction. I am patient and will do everything in my power to help gain an understanding.

Passed with distinction - Languages may be challenging, but once you understand the rules and contexts, it is easier than you think. I enjoyed Afrikaans throughout school and am capable of helping you to understand/ grasp this subject better. I did well in both the reading & writing side of this subject.

Ek is Afrikaans myself en het self baie met afrikaans gesukkel. Van 50% in laerskool het ek met die hulp van goeie onderwysers onderskeidings in Hoërskool begin behaal. Ek wil nou al daai wat ek by hulle geleer het vir ander leer. Laat ek en jy jou potentiaal optimaal benut. I am Afrikaans myself and have struggled a lot with Afrikaans myself. Of 50% in primary school, I achieved 80% in matric with the help of good teachers. I now want to learn all that I learned from them for others. I am fluent in Afrikaans, written and verbal. My first corporate job was a customer facing role and I serviced both English and Afrikaans native speakers in the financial industry. This role taught me a lot of finance-specific Afrikaans jargon and phrases.

As Afrikaans is my Home Language, I love teaching it. Although it is not always easy to learn another language, it can always be fun. I would like you to enjoy and understand Afrikaans as there is so much more to Afrikaans as a language.
