My methodology is showing you how to systematically solve any math or science question. I have found that many students struggle with interpreting the actual question and generally don't know where to start. I teach my students how to think about these problems, arming them with the tools to solve problems they have not seen before.

I possess CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK), Masters in Finance from UCT and currently a PhD in Finance student at UCT. I also possess a postgraduate course in Taxation. I am well able to tutor in many areas of Accounting such as audit, risk management, finance, mathematics etc

I enjoy working with numbers and was a tutor for Introduction to Actuarial Science, Financial Mathematics and Statistics during my undergrad at UCT. I'm keen assist in tutoring. However, I'm only available to help on weekends.

Firstly I love Mathematics. Further more, I believe I am the best tutor for this subject because I am a very patient teacher and Mathematics needs patience. When teaching a concept, I make sure that all the basics that build up to that particular concept have been covered and understood by a learner. I also allow learners to practice by giving them a mini test after the session to check if they have really understood the concepts we just covered.

I received a maths mark of 88% in matric and since starting university have achieved marks for engineering maths in the 80s as well. I understand what it is like to struggle with maths but how valuable a good teacher can be in helping you understand and excel.

I have a great mathematical background and I did the Advanced level system which is similar to the Cambridge system. Witha good background in statistics, I have been able to maneuver my way into finance. I have taught mathematics and maths lid to several high school students.

I am studying a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching through UNISA and Mathematics is one of the subjects I am specialising in. I have taught Mathematics at primary school level for 2 years. I have excellent mathematical skills as well as a great understanding of different math concepts. It is a subject that requires a lot of patience and a broad knowledge base, both of which I possess. I use methods which are simple for learners to understand and I ensure that my lessons are interesting and efficient.

I have an extensive university knowledge of mathematics as well as a BSc degree in Chemical Biology. I've been tutoring maths for 7 years and this makes me an experienced tutor not only with the work itself but because I've dealt with many students, I'm able to accommodate each student's individual personality and needs. I achieved 82% for mathematics by the end of Grade 12 in 2013, as well as 74% for Advanced Program Mathematics (APM). When I completed my engineering degree Mathematics becomes the most essential subject throughout, for which I have developed an undying passion for. I am extremely passionate about mathematics. I have tutored matric maths for 2 years and have 2 years of experience with Pure Mathematics at UCT along with 2+ years of mathematical statistics and 2 years of Financial Mathematics. I achieved 88% for my IEB matric maths, I completed IEB Advanced Program mathematics and I achieved 96% for maths NBT. I feel as though my tutoring style caters well to both strong and weak students.
