I have 10 years experience of teaching children Mathematics in Primary School. I have knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum for CAPS and UK. Since I have experience with teaching both Foundation and Intermediate Phase I know bout the fundamental foundation concepts and how to build onto these.

I was a tutor at UCT for the Engineering Department statistics course. I am patient and have a good understanding of the subject. I work towards understanding the pace and the needs of the student to help them improve their confidence and performance in the subject

Mathematics is extremely important. I had extra maths classes when I was at school and it helped a lot to get two explanations. Although you don't think so, you will be using mathematics in you everyday life. Become confident and you will enjoy it!

I did Mathematics in university for 2 years and I received good marks obtaining some distinctions. Therefore, I would be perfectly capable of tutoring high school learners the subject. In my Matric year I achieved 85%

I have 6 years experience as well as my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and English for grades 7-12. I have helped and taught many students. My main objective is to teach my students not to just “do” math but to understand what they are doing. Alongside that is to encourage them and to teach them that they can master math, and math does not have to master them.

I focus on the core principles of maths before progressing to complex problems. I always encourage my students to ask questions and consider the logical reasoning for each step.
