I have an aptitude for mathematics and love solving math problems (I often play Sudoku on rainy days). I feel math is a part of our everyday decision making and it helps us solve everyday problems by applying a critical thinking approach.

As an engineering student, mathematics is a big part of my career and calculus being a big part of math. Calculus is one of the main parts of my career and I have become very comfortable with algebra and transferring the knowledge that I have to anyone who is struggling. Math has always been one of my best subjects in my education career, having never received anything below merits.

I've been studying engineering at Stellenbosch university for 4 years now and my knowledge of Mathematics is well developed. On top of that, my tutoring experience makes me very capable of passing my knowledge off to you!

I have had extensive experience in calculus through my high school and AP Maths curriculum as well as part of Engineering Maths at university. I performed well in this subject throughout. This can be a tricky topic, but it can be easily understood through the right work and practice!

Calculus can get messy. There is difficulty in the understanding as well as the operation. Most students struggle with the latter if understanding is not clear. In depth knowledge of concepts should be of a priority before one should move on. There are many easier and better ways to explain what is happening.
