I did a lot of maths in high school (math and math further Cambridge A levels), and got special permission to do maths major in the first year of my undergraduate (which I got a certificate of first class for), so i do know what I'm doing when it comes to maths, but I also understand that maths, at least as it's taught in most schools, isn't exactly everyone's favorite subject, and I have the patience to meet students wherever they're at in terms of their understanding of the subject and move with them from there.

I am an experienced, warm and friendly tutor who teach students with understanding, skill and patience. I have some experience tutoring AP Mathematics. AP Mathematics for gr.10 and 11 is generally work that is included within the CAPS / IEB syllabus.

I am analytical, logical and precise. I majored in Actuarial Science ,Statistics and Financial Mathematics in University. I passed both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, cum laude. I also completed six Master level statistics modules at Wits university. In addition to a solid theoretical understanding I also have practical experience having made use of my statistical and mathematical knowledge during a career in equities trading.

I covered nine different modules during my Maths A-Levels. Four core modules, a Further Pure Maths module, Statistics 1 and 2, Mechanics 1 and Decision making Maths.
