I am a British citizen who has lived in South Africa for the past 12 years. I was born in the UK and bought up in Singapore and HongKong. I was schooled in all three countries. My tertiary education was in the UK, Italy and South Africa. I hold a BA (Hons) in Economics and Italian, an MSc in Finance, an MComm in Economics as well as a PhD in Economics. I am thus well suited to teach economics, finance, mathematics for economics as well as Italian (upto advanced inetrmediate level).

I am currently finishing off my degree in economic science with majors in maths and economics at WITS university . I have completed maths 3 last year and finishing off economics and insurance and risk management this year .

I am currently a third year Electrical engineering student studying at the University of Pretoria - I have completed all theory based modules (only have project next year) I did the Cambridge A levels for secondary education Willing to tutor any Electrical engineering course , maths and science.

I am currently a second year Actuarial student at the University of Pretoria. I went to school at Helpmekaar Kollege (IEB Curriculum) in Johannesburg, where I obtained 6 distinctions in Grade 12. My subjects were: Afrikaans (Home Language) (A), English (First Additional Language) (A), Mathematics (A), Life Orientation (A), Accounting, Economics (A), Business Studies (A) and Advanced Mathematics. Maths is absolutely my passion!!! I live in Hatfield very close to the university, and only go back home to Johannesburg about twice a month. This semester my timetable is quite flexible, although I have full days on campus on Wednesdays and Fridays. My classes only end late at 17:30 on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Throughout high school I was staying in Gauteng, but moved to Cape Town (Stellenbosch) after my gap year to go study Mechanical Engineering (BEng). I completed my studies and have been working for the past for the last two years. First as an engineer as at a sheet metal manufacturing plant, and then as a design engineer for a renewable energy company. As of now I have been aiming to restructure my career, potentially granting me much more freedom with my time. To assist me with this intermediate stage in my life I have started tutoring. I love working with children, i love music and playing piano. I am engaged and I help my stepdaughter as much as i can. I realise kids learn at different speeds, and being creative and using braincharts helps with that. I believe that all children can be taught. It is just a matter of relating to the material.
