Hello there! My name is Shereen Younis. I have recently graduated in a Bachelor of Laws with distinction from the University of Pretoria. As a new graduate, I am interested in broadening my horizons and expanding on my experiences before beginning work as a potential lawyer. I decided that the best way to do this would be to embark on the adventure of tutoring. The reason why I chose this path is that I have always had a passion for wanting to help others and I can do this by teaching them. I feel as though I would be suited for this job as it requires good interpersonal skills, which I have gained through past experiences such as my involvement in the United Nations Association of South Africa, Pretoria Chapter (UNASA). With UNASA we interacted with children who had no knowledge of their rights and provided them with further insight regarding their rights. We played different games and completed different exercises to teach them these rights. I can tutor young children as well as high school learners and university students (law modules). I am a very fun and bubbly person but I make sure I reach my objectives. I am easy going and understanding which I feel would make me a suitable tutor.

I matriculated from St. Mary’s High School Waverley with 8 distinctions and in the top 5% of the country. My name is Sam and I am a qualified Foundation phase teacher. I studied a BA and then found my passion in education which led me to complete a PGCE FP. I love working with children. Currently, I am a special needs tutor in the intermediate phase and work full time from 7:30am to 3:45 PM. Given the current world status, nd since schools have closed, I would like to peruse my passion online and help those that need help. I am compassionate, confident and caring.

I am an outgoing and bubbly individual with a keen passion for teaching and I am currently studying towards my PGCE in order to become a full time teacher. I have been teaching my whole life whether it was helping out my little sister with her homework to formal tutoring undertaken during my varsity years. I graduated both my degree and honours with distinction and want to use the knowledge I have gained to help other people. I am really interested in being challenged in terms of finding out new and interesting ways to explain concepts to students until they understand it. I am a dedicated and patient individual. When I tutor it is extremely important to me to create an open environment where no question is viewed as "stupid", in fact one will find that "stupid" questions are far more common than not and I want my students to feel that I have created a safe place for them to ask ANY and ALL questions to which I will answer to the best of my ability. I do not profess to know everything but what I can do is learn the answer to any question and make sure I teach the student that answer. My goal as your tutor is to help you pass your subject no matter what that takes, and I will keep trying and changing my methods, techniques and examples until that goal is achieved. David is an Investment Banker at one of the big-four South African banks in Export Finance. David is currently pursuing a Masters in Management at the Wits University and has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. Prior to being in the financial sector, David worked in the USA in the Oil & Gas sector. David is passionate about development in Africa and has an immense passion for education as education is the key to success.

As a Computer Science graduate (Honours), To buttress my strength in excellent service delivery that I lay claims to, I was assigned as an interns for three months were I helped to populate a company’s Transaction Database on their new Intranet, this involved pulling the data from eFront (a transaction workflow system), verifying the data against an extract from Microsoft SharePoint, cleaning up any data inconsistencies and then loading and tagging the correct data and documents into a new SharePoint database). At the end of the duration, I was able to finish the tasks giving to me and helped with few other tasks. I have also been held an Assistant Lecturing position at the University of Pretoria were my job was to lecture C++ programming, setting up and conducting C++ programming for students. I did not fail to report to my Senior Lecturer about the on-going process with the students. I enjoyed working with other competent Information Technology (IT) staff seeing that computer users across the University of Pretoria supports services delivery to the student which in turn reduced their various challenges that they may have had. Presently, I am an IT technician at Digit-IT and National Tender Services located in Pietermaritzburg, my core duties are Graphic Design, Animations, IT Support, Repair, Networking, Installation, Sales and general IT Services, General Administration, Back End Administration and Tender Services. I have completed more than five projects since my date of resumption at Digit-IT.

I am a qualified Speech Language Therapist (UCT), with excellent communication and listening skills and I have a passion and enjoy helping others, treating pediatrics and adults with varying levels of speech, language and communication problems, difficulties in swallowing, or cognitive communication. I have extensive public hospital and private practice experience with with adult and pediatric population. I am currently working at a special needs education centre, and intended on pursing my masters in Speech Language therapy in the near future.

Hi my name is Inem. I'm currently studying Actuarial Science student at UCT. I'm really into strategy videos and my favourite food is pizza (any kind so long as it doesn't have pineapple on it). I also enjoy using math and statistics when talking about my other passion - football (don't even get me started on Arsenal's terrible form this season!)
