I am a very experienced tutor who has helped students in Johannesburg from Primary school up to University level to achieve high grades. Degrees obtained: BSC Engineering( Civil, graduated in 2012), PGDIP(GIBS Business School, graduated 2018) and MBA(GIBS Business School, graduated 2019) Structural/Civil Engineer(7-years of work experience in sustainability, civil, structural engineering and temporary works design). Skills: Engineering, analytical, technical, excel, word, structural design programs, statistics Ten years experience giving extra lessons in structural engineering("structures"), maths, science, English, Afrikaans, and chemistry. Extra lessons are given to the primary school, high school students(IEB and government course work) and university students.

I have successfully completed all four of my Board Exams and have been admitted in the High Court. I am an Information Systems Graduate form the University of Cape Town. I have always known that I love helping people, particularly with their school work, I used to do a lot of peer tutoring when I was still in High School. However, it first dawned on me how strongly I feel about education and actually doing something about it when I started doing volunteer tutoring with a student society called Ubunye UCT, TeachOut. During those Mathematics and English sessions I realized that tutoring is actually more than just explaining concepts, but also about building a relationship with the person being tutored, the learners. I realized that the more you understand the person you are tutoring, the easier it becomes for them to grasp the concepts being explained. So tutoring for me is a really fun activity to do, also because I would like to believe that the learners who I tutor grow to like me and always get excited to see me. Bonus point is, I form very good bonds and actually enjoy spending time with the learners who I tutor.
