I believe there is an Albert Einstein or Isaac Newton within every one of us. I reason this with the following example, if you are out playing catch with your friend before throwing the ball you do not need to stop and calculate the force and the angle that must be applied to the ball before throwing it. Nor do you take out a pen and paper to calculate the affect of gravity and air resistance on that ball while it is in the air, instead it is intuitive and taught through application. I aim to take the same intuitive approach to understanding physics. And in conjuncture with the fundamentals of physics. students will soon be solving the problems without my assistance.

I thoroughly enjoyed physics at university and believe that mastering it inevitably refines critical thinking skills in other areas of life and provides a fundamental framework for other areas of science. While the subject matter is fascinating when understood, the actual process of learning it broadens the mind and challenges our cognitive abilities, and is a process I am always eager to be involved in.

I have completed my BEng my BEng (Hons) and my MEng in Mechanical Engineering at UP. I have three years post grad working experience in the engineering field and have presented my research at multiple conferences.

I obtained a distinction for Physical Science in matric and I have studied and passed both my Physics and Mechanics modules with good results in my first year of chemical engineering. On top of performing well, I do enjoy subjects involving problem solving and believe my skills can be useful in explaining Physics concepts. I also understand Physical Science is not an easy subject to grasp a lot of the time and I will do my best to help you and show you lots of patience.

Lots of students who are choosing their senior subjects take physics and tend to struggle in Grade 10 because concepts are new. I would love to help students who are in need of help with this challenging subject. I will work with students and see what teaching method works for them in order for students to understand the subject better and perform in all the tests and exams. (I can tutor Grade 8 -10 students)

I am a 23 year old female who currently lives in Illovo and studies at the University of Pretoria. I have a BSc Food Science degree from the University of Stellenbosch, and am now in my 2nd year of studying Dietetics at the University of Pretoria. I have experience in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Stellenbosch. I am currently working at Dimension Data while doing my masters in Industrial Engineering at The University of Pretoria. I am passionate about problem solving, and the application of science in real world scenarios and more importantly the harnessing of both scientific and mathematical knowledge to problem solve.

I am very analytical in my thinking skills and enjoy teaching maths and physical science. I always achieved excellent results in my junior and senior school years and continued to do so at tertiary level. I was high school valaedictorian in 2011 and made the Dean's list at University of the Witwatersrand in 2014. Qualified Maths teacher, registered with SACE. Graduated at University of the Witwatersrand BSc Biochemistry with Honours. Plenty of teaching and mentoring experience with Maths and Physical Science Grade 8 - 12. My greatest achievement in life is to educate and motivate students to reach their highest potentials.
