I studied Maths and Physics at university (2nd and 1st year respectively) while studying towards my Geography and Computer Science degree, and have a solid grasp on the fundamentals that make up the high school curriculum. I am passionate about these empowering tools, and find that one-on-one lessons are a more effective way to explain their seemingly abstract concepts. I try to develop my students' personal understanding of the subjects so that they can think through problems in a way that makes sense to them as individuals. I tend to use analogies and visual methods to familiarize students with new content.

I am creative, well-spoken and educated with a sunny disposition and laid-back personality. I take great pleasure in seeing others succeed and having a role to play in that success. I am passionate about the English language and literature as a whole and I hope to inspire a similar passion in others. Hi there, I’m Claire. I’m currently doing my Bachelor of Science in biology. I was studying at an American college and have come back to South Africa to complete my degree online for the remaining 6 weeks. I love biology and research work, with an ambition to work in disease research or management. Some other cool things about me; I was a swimmer for 16 years, my favorite color is blue, I love animals and I absolutely love spending time with family and friends. I have distinctions in university 1st year pure Mathematics and university 1st year Statistics. I am available on nearly any day and at nearly any time as I am currently waiting to gather enough money to reliably continue my studies.
