I am creative, well-spoken and educated with a sunny disposition and laid-back personality. I take great pleasure in seeing others succeed and having a role to play in that success. I am passionate about the English language and literature as a whole and I hope to inspire a similar passion in others. My experience in academia would be most useful for students who need help with reading and comprehension, research and presentations. I also offer copy-editing services for students applying to universities who require a personal essay or portfolio, as well as exam prep on all levels.

I've worked in corporate for the past 20 years, gaining valuable experience in Finance, Procurement, Logistics and Sales. I am now at the point in my life where I would like to share my knowledge and experience and I really cannot think of a better way to do that, than tutoring. I strongly believe that you can only learn something new, if you truely understand what it is that you are learning. Hi, I'm Jacinta, but you can call me Jay. I am a first year student at UP and I'm studying a BSc in Human Physiology. In my Matric year, I took Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Music, AP maths, English, Afrikaans and Maths and was under the IEB. I got 7 distinctions in Matric and I feel very comfortable with the syllabus and am confident that I can help you achieve your best in any of these subjects :)

I am a passionate corporate M&A legal practitioner (pending admission) with two years of experience international experience. I have obtained my training on the fundamental aspects of corporate M&A at Baker McKenzie. I have over two years of substantial tutor and teaching experience which I gained at the University of the Free State. I can assist university students with various legal subjects and candidate legal practitioners with their preparation for the attorney admission exams.

For the more science, math, business and art orientated students language skills might not come naturally. Luckily I have a proclivity for languages - particularly English . From essays, speeches, literary analyses to grammar, I have the skills to sharpen you up linguistically. With high achieving grades for both English and Afrikaans in Matric I decided to continue down the path of languages by pursuing a tertiary education in creative writing. After graduating from UNISA with a BA degree in Creative Writing with English and Theory of Literature as my two majors I enrolled for an honours degree in English Studies which is what I am currently working on. I am continuously advancing my skill set and would love to help you out in the process.

I have always considered myself to be a person who is intimately captivated by helping other people and making the world a better place in any way possible. I am more motivated to complete and attain a goal that helps another person than I am to which helps me. I have kindly tolerant personality however I am very persistent to push others to keep striving to be better. I am not very much outspoken but it is complimented by kindness which makes it seem like I talk out a lot than I actually do. I am a very technical person with a great desire in technology and sport.

I have been a language teacher since 2002. I have taught English, French and Zulu to people of all language levels from school students to casual learners. If you are looking to attain your DELF certificate, i can help you with that. If you are looking to learn about the Zulu language, culture and people, I can also help you with that. Above all else if you are learning these languages to improve on them, I can assist you.
