Physical Science tutors in Pretoria

I am very passionate about sciences. I did very well in it in high school and i noticed in university that it is the basis of admission in numerous careers. I want to give the current high school students the necessary skills of achieving high marks in their science programs so that they have a good chance of pursuing their careers in the institutions of their choice.

Physics has always been challenging for me ,I love the subject purely because of that and helping someone make sense of it will give me great pleasure, in addition I managed to get distinctions in the subject back in High School.

I am an Electronic Engineer. My current work deals with the underlying concepts on a daily basis. I completed my degreeat the University of Pretoria. I also have a few years teaching experience (primary school, high school and univeristy level) as well as being an assistant lecturer at the university.

I spent all of last year tutoring physics to first-year engineering students at the University of Pretoria. I have a love for the subject and a good understanding of it too. It would be a pleasure to try to help you develop a love and understanding for it too.

In grade 11, I actually failed my mid-year exam, meaning I needed a ridiculously high mark to achieve an A grade. As a result, I studied the ins and outs of physics and chemistry. I achieved a 92% as a final matric grade for science.

I achieved an 82% at the end of matric. I have learned that through hard work and repetition, science as school subject becomes easier. I have many examples and notes from grade 8 to 12 that can help you understand the work.

Physical Science is a subject I am deeply passionate about as it is the backbone of everything which makes our lives easier from technology to engineering and more. I have grown to master Physical Sciences in my High School years and I know exactly what learners need to do and know in order to better understand concepts and excel in the subject. Since Physics is a technical yet practical subject, I am able to help students visualize problems in the real world through visual aids such as illustrative diagrams during my explanations. This has helped many students I have taught including myself in understanding concepts better.

I achieved a mid 80 for physics in matric through IEB and achieved a low 80 for physics in a first year physics module at the university of Pretoria. I have tutoring experience for physics, both online and in person, through the university.

I am passionate about Physical Science and currently doing my Phd Molecular Parasitology at University of Pretoria. I am highly motivated, result driven, eager to learn and explore, works well under pressure to meet strict deadlines and a passion for the work I do and excellent interpersonal skills. I have strong interest in molecular biology and microbiology and I aspire to be a Medical Scientist.

I have done many modules at university in science and especially physics, less so in chemistry, and I know many learners struggle with this subject. I have a good knowledge of physics and can explain it quite proficiently.
