Afrikaans tutors in Pretoria

My home language is Afrikaans and I believe that there is a lot that I can teach. I also completed Primary and High School in Afrikaans so I will be able to tutor learners on the basics of the language

Since Afrikaans is my home language, I feel more connected to this language. I find great joy in sharing my knowledge and concepts to people/students who are willing to learn. Language isn't just words, it's a primal way of communicating and through that we can connect to far more people.

I love working with kids. I grow up in an Afrikaans speaking household, i went to an Afrikaans primary school and high school. I graduated matric with an 79% for Afrikaans huistaal. I enjoy teaching kids new things.

I am a first language Afrikaans speaking female, 33 years of age, so fully confidant in teaching someone else this language, whether it is their first or second language, young or old. I have a passion for people and seeing them prosper.

Afrikaans in school is a subject that requires remembering rules, as well as intuitive knowledge of the language and a basic foundation. I can teach from the foundation up. Afrikaans is easy to pass when students follow the rules and patterns and put in effort and positivity. I can encourage and teach students to succeed in this daunting language.

I am a native Afrikaans speaker but am also fluent in English, speak French and some Dutch. I thus have first-hand experience with the process of learning a language, and the combination hereof with my methodological teaching education equips me with all the ideal tools to help you learn Afrikaans.

I am an undergraduate at the University of Pretoria studying International Relations as well as Law. I have tutored law subjects before and I am a third year.
