I have participated in multiple English Olympiads, achieving either Silver or Gold levels. I also achieved high marks in my matric results for the subject and have completed an Arts and Humanities course at university. I have also received prizes for competing in poetry competitions. In my free time, I write poetry and short stories.

I am driven to help students overcome barriers that impact their learning, and I am committed to educating students, colleagues, families, and the community through establishing strong connections. My mission is to help students to think critically, and motivate children to believe that they can succeed in achieving their dreams.

Being a poet and having attended multiple public speaking competitions; I certify myself a top of the range creative and classy writer. I guide those I am tutoring into being witty and extraordinary writers such as myself. I am able to assist other to think out of the box and let their imaginations run wild.

I have a BA (Hons) English degree with Creative Writing as a subject. I worked at the Humanities writing center, assisting students with academic writing. I was also employed to train other departments in assessing academic writing. My creative writing has also been published, winning various literary competitions, and I have presented a conference paper on my creative portfolio.

I am passionate about education and sharing of knowledge with others. I was assisting my fellow honours students and most of them appreciated my meaningful contribution. I am dedicated scholar and will always put the needs and wants of the students as my priority. Equally important, i will also provide my students with the opportunity to raise their views and participate freely during the consultation classes. The most important aspect is to ensure that my students understand all the sections of all the modules. For the same reason, that my students are always ready for the forthcoming exams. I will allocate and dedicate adequate time to impart knowledge to my students and assure that they pass their exam papers at all times.

I have achieved distinctions and awards for best academic performance in English. I also achieved the highest mark for Afrikaans. I am passionate about languages and sub categories such as poetry and the analysis thereof. I love teaching and I am very pedantic when it comes to grammar. I also read a lot and I like narrating.

My essays I wrote in high school always achieved above 75%, and some even achieved above 90%. My teachers regularly read my essays to the class. I also worked as a writer for our school newspaper, which won best newspaper in the district in 2018. Writing comes very naturally to me and I would love to share my tips and techniques with other aspiring young writers or a student in need of assistance.

I have received 86% for my overall English subject when matriculating high school and have too received 84% for AP English, which is focused on the analysis of literary texts alongside writing specifically-focused academic essays. More prominently I have completed three years of undergraduate English studies at Wits University, which means that I have a profound understanding of studying literary works alongside writing compelling academic essays on a university-equivalent level.

I have experience with educating university learners on the methods of writing at tertiary level. This is a valuable skill to acquire and I am able to make the process of learning this enjoyable and enlightening.

As an academic writing coach for fist and second-year health science students, I am confident that I am one of the best tutors for this subject. I love reading and writing and have an interesting way with words. I also love building, linking and simplifying complex concepts using language.
