For 30+ years, I have been an educator, specialising in English and Dramatic Arts. I also work as a freelance writer and copy editor. My experience, skills and love for the clear and accurate use of English mean that I want to help students develop their vocabularies and use of different words in different contexts. My own work as a writer means that I understand the process of using words in print to communicate and can work on this with students.

Matriculated with distinction - English writing was my favourite in English. I found it easy to write creatively, keep my writing flowing and add in the necessary quotes/ citations. I also did public speaking which made it easier to structure the way I wrote.

I believe I am the best tutor for this subject because I have acquired a lot of knowledge on the subject beginning from high school until tertiary level. I have also received numerous awards for outstanding performance on the subject. In my experience of learning the subject, I have realized that it requires patience to be able to teach the subject. Among other qualities that might be beneficial in teaching this subject, I do possess the patience and experience required to make me the best teacher.

I did very well for english in matric (80% +) and I understand the types of questions that are asked. I have a lot experience in university-level writing and I love to read. I'll be more than happy to read the book you're working on in class in order to be of more assistance.

By writing I am referring to essays; assignments; research concept notes; proposals and dissertations/reports. For almost a decade, I have worked as a researcher thus I am very familiar writing concept notes; proposals, develop data collections tools and reports. I have written and reviewed peer-reviewed journals. I believe the skills, knowledge and experience I have gained over the years (both academically and professionally) will be helpful to those I tutor.

I have excelled in the subject and have more than three years tutoring experience on it as well as a published short story. My communication skills ensure that I deliver fruitful lessons from which you can be sure to grasp the important tips and tricks that go into writing.

I am a spelling therapist and understand the do-it-online spelling techniques and the problems it may arise. I do buddy reading and have patience for even special needs' children. I am a teacher, a psychometrist, tutor and study for educational psychologist. I have 5 years’ experience and understand that you learn by doing much more in technology, than before. Images, buddy reading, games and robotics is the way to go! I love helping children reach their full potential and have the patience and ability to walk a road with them. I enjoy each and every ones’ personality and we reach goals together. I can teach up to adults, but I enjoy smaller-aged children because then you can grow them into what they want to become.

I am a published author (although I am reviewing/rewriting the series) as well as a 3rd year Writing student. In the past, I have received various awards for my English capabilities as well as previously being an English teacher in China.

I have experience in writing. I already have a years experience when it comes to teaching in the foundation phase and this includes writing. This experience took place during my PGCE. During our teaching practicals, we took part in teaching lessons. For me, a lot of my lessons were writing lessons. I believe that I am capable of teaching writing in a sufficient and effective way

As a hydrogeologist, I write a lot of scientific reports throughout the year. I used to dread the writing process for a while (throughout my schooling career) until i wrote my first report in my professional career. Writing brings out creativity and sense of accomplishment after analyzing and processing field data. I am passionate with what I do would be pleasure to teach someone about what I know.
