English was my absolute favourite subject in high school, which led to my distinctions both in English and AP English (86% and 84% respectively) when matriculating. Besides becoming a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society after my first year of undergrad, I have successfully completed my majors in English literary studies and Media studies at Wits University and am currently pursuing my third major in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

For the past three years, I have been studying English as a major full-time. Each term we have studied four texts within our lectures for examination purposes, texts ranging from Toni Morrison's "Sula", Joyce's "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man", to Brontë's "Villette" (to name a few). This allowed for students to skillfully write three academic essays responding to three academic questions set by our professors. Additionally, each term students attended a seminar/tutorial of our choosing where we studied another two to three literary texts for our term assessments, allowing for students to better hone their academic English literary skills which as proofreading, editing, argumentative writing, literary analysis, persuasive responding etc.
I have completed two majors for my BA General degree, which are Media Studies and English Studies in Literature. I am going to do my third major in Industrial and Organisational Psychology in 2021.
