In my first year of studying how children develop it is important to help the child develop holistically and help them understand the concept of pencil grip and showing them how to sit properly . They learn through play and it is important to get them involved into the topic at hand

I have experience in tutoring English at these levels and I have obtained certificates in both academic and scientific writing.I have developed strong research skills (i.e. SOP writing, report writing, proposal writing, presentation skills) through my undergraduate and post graduate studies, which is demonstrated in the peer review journal publications I have produced.

I can teach practical writing skills for life: report writing, email writing, minute-taking, essay writing. I can prepare lesson to condense the time spent learning the key steps to applying these skills.

I am the best tutor for this subject, as I am studying to become a Foundation Phase teacher. I really enjoy teaching students to read and write. There are many fun ways in which you can improve reading and writing. Writing is a great way to express oneself and teaching students how to express themselves is vital.

I am a creative writer by profession so this is home ground for me. I am best suited for tutoring this subject because I have over 4 years’ experience teaching children how to read and write. I have all the required skills and patience to make sure that my learners are able to improve their writing skills.

I had both Afrikaans and English as home languages up to grade 12. I passed creative writing at 1st year level. As I am currently in the progress of completing my dissertation, I am skilled in formal academic writing.

Writing anything in todays world is highly important as almost every career choice requires a generally good knowledge of essays, letters and research. I have taken part in 2 research projects and have written countless essays throughout my high-school and university career. I have also had a poem I wrote in primary/high school published in a Poetry book.

I recently did all of this for my matric finals. I am also very strong in this area as I achieved quite well in it, in matric. I loved English when I was in highschool because it allowed me to be creative and it forces on to push their creative limits.

As a journalist one of the basic skills we are encouraged to hone is the ability to write a simple yet compelling piece. Having a personal indulgence for creative writing, this is something I value about the many skills I possess- the ability to write on any and every subject without intimidation.
