I essentially write various content on a daily basis as an attorney and an detail orientated with a keen eye for grammar and spelling. I also review various documents in order to determine whether the writer's point is being brought across and whether the content is within the scope of the subject matter.

I am passionate about English literature as well as as writing paper 3 and paper 2 pieces. I always loved writing humorous paper 2 pieces such as newspaper articles, speeches and friendly letters. I am skilled at writing more serious business letters but enjoyed the humorous pieces more. For my paper 3 pieces I preferred writing descriptive essays because I have an imagination that can run very wild. My English teacher was my role model and my mentor. She was like a second mother to me, as I was in her class from grade 8 through to grade 12. I want to be that kind of mentor for my student while helping them achieve their best in English

Writing allows us to express ourselves when our verbal ability won’t allow us to. Even though I have no personal publications, I have written many short texts which allowed me to share my experiences, opinions and imagination with the world. My degree in English as well as my personal experience encourages me to be confident in facilitating your writing journey. As an undergraduate English and Psychology major I can make use of both my disciplines via tutoring. As and English major I have honed my essay writing skills and can provide valuable insight into what teachers and lecturers are looking for in terms of structure, diction and tone. Most importantly - understating the question. Through psychology, I can employ various teaching techniques in order to accommodate the student.

I have a passion for writing and believe this is a tool all learners need to excel in their future. Learners use writing as a tool for communication not merely to be marked on. I believe writing can convey individualism of learners which is important. My degree covers English for grade 7-12. For adults it is important to convey themselves wholesomely and purposefully through writing and I believe I can help with such.

While working as a literature coach especially, I had to assess my students writing skills and challenge them to improve through an interactive book report. In this way, the students could improve their writing through their own creative, unique and imaginative way. I also had to improve my students writing as a teacher, however, in this case, the children had a set way of doing it and were able to improve.

I have been exposed to various forms of both creative writing (including writing several plays for high school, one of which placed in the 2012 EADS competition), technical reports (such as research or design reports, winning the 2017 WEIR Minerals Prize for Bets Design Report) and even journalistic (such as writing for the school newspaper). In high school I won the Wordsmith Prize for dedication to writing.

Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation Correct grammar, punctuation and spelling are key in written communications. The reader will form an opinion of you, the author, based on both the content and presentation, and errors are likely to lead them to form a negative impression. Checking for poor writing and spelling mistakes should be seen as a courtesy to your readers since it can take them much longer to understand the messages in your writing if they have to think and re-read text to decipher these.

I am passionate about literature. Throughout my life I have been very good at reading and writing. During my studies I have been exposed to Academic legal writing, scientific writing , as well as writing about english literature. I assist in editing, and grammar checks. I am interested in creative writing as well, and competed in Olympiads in school.
